Jeffrey Sachs, Special Advisor to the Secretary General of the UN, spoke at St. Paul’s Cathedral on ‘the Search for Sustainable Living’.
In his speech, at a lecture organised by the St. Paul’s institute, Sachs asks why there is a driver in the West for “more, more, more.” He reminds us that “we are coming closer and closer to decisive ecological limits,” and in doing so risk driving other species “literally off the planet.”
